CETA's Mechanical Engineering Department Prepares Students for Competitive Graduate Programs
Our Mechanical Engineering
students have a competitive edge when it comes to gaining admission to impressive
graduate engineering programs in the nation! CETA graduate Hala Al-Khalil ’15
entered Stanford after graduating with a double major in mechanical engineering
and electrical engineering. Alexander Paterson ’17 went on to Stanford as well.
And now, this year Reid Bassette ’18 has received offers from multiple
institutions, including Stanford. In addition, Reid is assisting Dean Hisham
Alnajjar with his NASA USIP project through the NASA Connecticut Space Grant
Consortium.
According to USNews.com,
Stanford was ranked the second best graduate school for engineering in 2018,
right behind MIT. This isn’t the first time our students have gone on to
prestigious graduate programs. Click
