Associate Professor Theodore Sawruk attended the 21st
Colloquium On International Engineering Education hosted by the
University of Rhode Island. As a part of the session How to get Diverse
Communities involved in Engineering, he presented a paper entitled “Why
Do More Women of Color Graduate from STEM Programs at Minority Serving
Institutions than Predominantly White Institutions?” Last month,
Professor Sawruk was invited by the Northeastern Educational Research
Association (NERA) to serve as a discussant for a conference session
titled "Diversity & Inclusion." The 49th NERA Conference was held in Trumbull, CT.
